Mokume Gane Two

Mokume Gane One is made with real metal powders suspended in translucent polymer clay.  Each metal was then layered multiple times into a multilayer form called a billet.  The billet that was manipulated to create the effect. The gold is brass, the silver is aluminum, the red brown is copper and the brown is bronze,  The blue was created with mica flakes and emulates a common Mokume Gane patina.   The bowl is approximately 4,25" in diameter.  We created this to give a close approximation of a solid metal Mokume Gane bowl.   Its a rare piece.
